I must admit that I really love Facebook. It has been awesome reconnecting with a lot of great old friends and I can pretty much keep up on what is going on with the family. I added a page for our website UniqueCelticWeddingRings.com a while back and our fans have been growing slowly but growing nonetheless. I just reached 100 fans! Yea!

Trinity Knot Versus Celtic Knots

I came across and article on eHow the other day discussing How to find “Trinity Knot Celtic Wedding Rings”. But what they described and pictures weren’t Trinity Knots they were of Celtic Knots. All Trinity Knots are Celtic Knots but not all Celtic Knots are Trinity Knots.

A Trinity Knot always has three points and taken from the word Triquetra meaning three (tri) and quetrus (cornered). The Trinity Knot is notably found in the Book of Kells.

The Trinity Knot or Triquertra symbol is used by Christians as a symbol of the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit). A contemporary Irish meaning of the Trinity Knot is love never ending because a Trinity Knot has no end.

The Celtic Swan Wedding Rings

Just added to our line of Irish Wedding rings is the Le Chiele Wedding Ring or The Celtic Swans Wedding Ring. Appropriately named Le Cheile which means together in Gaelic. The two swans melt together into one. The intertwined swans signifying oneness and togetherness.

The Last Minute Groom

It amuses me the difference between ladies and gents. We often get calls for last-minute rings. And today I got two one from a woman who said “I know it is short notice but I am getting married in two months …..” and the other from a man who said, “I didn’t get my ring yet and I’m getting married this Saturday can you help me?.” Lucky for the lady that is plenty of time to get a ring our not so lucky gent is going to have a little pre-wedding stress.

Most of the wedding rings we sell are custom handmade to order and can take anywhere from two to four weeks. I find it odd that many couples (not all) but quite a few don’t leave that much time to select wedding rings. I’ve done a little research and most of the Todo List suggests selecting your rings 4 to 6 months before the wedding and some suggest 12 months or more before the wedding.

Do you really need that much time? Probably not but you are going to be wearing this ring for the rest of your life and it should be something you really love.

In closing don’t feel bad for our groom we do keep a fair amount of rings in stock just for this reason. We had four rings in stock in his size and he picked out a very nice Celtic Knot Wedding ring. He’s all set he said…

Cetlic Trinity Knot Wedding Rings

Last quarter we introduced some new Trinity Knot Engagement Rings from Shanore that we have just added to our website they are gorgeous. Well, I did get a sample in just a couple of weeks ago along with some matching wedding rings. When I saw the picture of the matching wedding ring in the catalog, I wasn’t so sure I would like it but it turns out the matching wedding rings are stunning with the engagement ring and are also quite lovely on its own as well.

There are three styles one just for ladies, a second matching set for both ladies and gents, and a third just for the guys.

Ogham Wedding Rings

One of my favorite wedding rings is the Ogham Wedding Ring by Celtic and Heraldic. Ogham wring is the ancient wring dating back to pre Christian times and found mostly in Ireland but also in Scotland and England.

The Ogham wedding ring by Celtic and Heraldic is available in Sterling Silver, 10K Yellow Gold and 14K Yeller or White Gold. Written in Ogham on the ring is “Love Forever” not only is this ring swinging with romance but it just stunningly beautiful. Slim version for the ladies at 3.8 mm wide and the gents matching ring is 5.6 mm wide.
