Vendor Spotlight: Boru Jewelry

Boru Jewelry is a maker of handcrafted jewelry.  This Irish-owned and operated company has been in business for over 40 years.  Established as Celtic & Heraldic Jewelry, the company eventually changed its name to Boru Jewelry to honor Ireland’s Greatest King, Brian Boru.

King Boru ruled as the last High King of Ireland from 1002-1014 AD.  His patriotism and personal sacrifices united warring clans, under one king, for the first and only time in Irish history.  It was a time of unparalleled glory, affluence, and bliss.  “Brian of the Tributes” as King Boru reverently became known, gathered money from the Chieftains of Ireland.  With the collected money, King Boru funded the restoration of numerous monasteries and learning establishments that had been demolished during numerous Viking invasions.

Boru crafts jewelry of stunning designs and of exceptional quality.  Boru Jewelry’s craftsmen have been trained in Ireland, Germany, and the United Kingdom.  Each piece of jewelry is made to the highest of standards and crafted with care.  Its product range spans from traditional Celtic designs to progressive contemporary pieces.

King Boru was a great supporter of the arts and of learning.  He led an era of notable craftsmanship of jewelry, manuscripts, and masonry.  Boru Jewelry prides itself in emulating King Boru’s values, heritage, and craftsmanship with every piece of fine handmade Celtic jewelry it creates.

Boru's noteworthy designs include the original (award-winning) Celtic Warrior Collection and the new contemporary Wood Quay Collection Gaelic Wedding Rings and Faith Collection Wedding Rings.
