Wood Quay Collection Made in Ireland by Boru
The Inspiration:
Over a thousand years ago, the Vikings pillaged and raided Irish Churches and Monasteries for their gold and silver.
Accomplished craftsmen working in Temple Bar area of Dublin fashioned these precious metals into stunning rings, armlets and brooches, the most common brooch was a cloak fastener and is known as a Ring Pin.
Brian Boru drove the Vikings out of Ireland one thousand years ago though much of the Viking heritage remained. Many artifacts have been discovered during excavations at Wood Quay in Dublin.
These exquisite pieces of fine jewelry inspired Boru Jewelry to create the Wood Quay. Wood Quay Jewelry Collection
