An Affordable Luxury for Celtic Gents

FÉAR
Inspired by the stories of the Celtic Warrior Kings of Ireland
Shanore proudly introduce Fear Jewelry for Men
Fear is pronounced "far" and is the Irish word for man.

Just in time for the Holidays! Shanore of Dublin, Ireland, has introduced a line of eye-catching sterling silver jewelry just for the gents aptly named Fear. There are five pieces in the line starting with the striking comfort fit Celtic band. The design is continuous around the entire band and the background is oxidized which really shows of this unique Celtic design.

The show stopper (definitely!) is the sterling Silver Celtic Bracelet. Designed to flatter, the sterling silver Celtic Knot is 2” long on a hard rubber bracelet with a secure clasp with the perfect amount of contrast. What an awesome gift this will make.

Also available in the line are two pendants the Celtic Cross, Celtic Dog Tag and a matching set of cuff links. All of the pieces are finely crafted in Ireland with qualify that is sure to suite your style.

Add a Quaich to your Celtic Wedding

Traditionally the "Quaich", which originated in the Scottish Highlands, was used both for a "Cup of Welcome" and also when offering a farewell drink.

The word Quaich is from the Gaelic word “cauch” which means “shallow cup”. The Quaich was originally made from the primitive "staved" wood and later from horn or leather; eventually pewter and silver became popular as it became the favorite drinking cup throughout Scotland. The distinctive design has remained the same over the centuries - a shallow drinking bowl with 2 handles, known as "lugs".

In modern times in Scotland the Quaich is used for sharing the whisky known as the water of life at wedding celebrations. The tradition is for the bride to fill the Wedding cup and pass it around all the guests in celebration of marriage.

Eternal Promise Wedding Rings

This beautiful collection of Irish Wedding Bands is appropriately named the Gealltanas Siorai which is Gaelic and means Eternal Promise. Each romantic ring has a meaningful sentiment and is the perfect wedding ring.

Mo Anam Cara - translation "My Soul Mate" and is pronounced "Muh Anum Kara"
Gra Go Deo - translation "Love Forever" and pronounced "Gra Guh Joe"
Gra Dilseacht Cairdeas - translation Love Loyalty Friendship and pronounced "Gra Deelshocked Korjas"
Gra Geal Mo Chroi - translation" Bright Love of My Heart" and pronounced "Graw Gal Muh Kree"

These Irish Wedding Bands are meticulously handcrafted in Ireland by the original designers, Boru. Each Gaelic wedding band is individually crafted in both a 6 mm width for ladies and 7 mm widths for gent's version. Trim can be added for a beautiful contrast.

Boru’s flawless craftsmanship ensures the highest quality and provides a seamless design, emphasizing the ancient Celts love of circles and cycles and symbolizing the concept of a never ending band of gold which reflects the eternal promise the marriage vows.

Trinity Knot Versus Celtic Knots

I came across and article on eHow the other day discussing How to find “Trinity Knot Celtic Wedding Rings”. But what they described and pictures weren’t Trinity Knots they were of Celtic Knots. All Trinity Knots are Celtic Knots but not all Celtic Knots are Trinity Knots.

A Trinity Knot always has three points and taken from the word Triquetra meaning three (tri) and quetrus (cornered). The Trinity Knot is notably found in the Book of Kells.

The Trinity Knot or Triquertra symbol is used by Christians as a symbol of the Trinity (Father, Son and Holy Spirit).  A contemporary Irish meaning of the Trinity Knot is love never ending because a Trinity Knot has no end.
