Boru now offers an oxidized finish to several of the sterling silver Celtic Warrior Shield Wedding Rings.  Now three finishes are available, polished, Florentine and oxidized (blackened).  The blackened oxidized finish is only available in the sterling silver or mixed metal (sterling silver and 10K gold) versions of the ring s in specific widths. Oxidized finish is not available with gold.

Ogham wedding rings by FADO in 10K Rose Gold.  Your custom phrase is translated to the Gaelic language and then the ancient text of Ogham.  Your phrase should contain up to eighteen characters,  less is totally fine and if you want more email us the phrase and we can check to see it would fit.

This ring is available for both ladies from sizes 4.5 to 8.5 and for gents from sizes 9 to 13 whole and half.  If you need a 1/4 size just ask.  This ring can be resized at any time (depending on the length of the phrase - if the phrase goes all the way around the ring resizing may be restricted).

Ogham Wedding Rings

Ogham, pronounced "ohm" was used by the Ancient Irish Celts. This form of writing was used from about 600 BC to about 700 AD. The Ogham alphabet contains 20 letters made up of a vertical line with dots and dashes and is read starting from the bottom to the top. While all surviving traces of Ogham are inscriptions on stone, it was probably inscribed on sticks, stakes and trees. Inscriptions generally take the form of somebody's name and the name of a place and were likely used to mark boundaries. The existing examples of Ogham are on large standing stones.
