Irish Made Lockets

LOCKETS: Pretty as a picture! Lockets have been around for centuries and became extremely popular in the Victorian Era. At that time lockets were given as a sign of condolence where the wearer could keep a lock of hair or ash as a keepsake. Before that wearers would keep medicine or poison in them.

Wow I did not know that!

Of course today lockets are mostly given as gifts and are considered a romantic gift. Though I also think it would be nice to put pictures of your children in your locket keeping them close to your heart.

Boru offers a beautiful collection of Irish made lockets in both sterling silver and 10K gold.  Classic oval and heart shapes with stunning Celtic knot designs or the very popular Claddagh.
